Demtec DBB

The Demtec DBB bale breaker is designed to process bales of potting media for supply to tray filling lines or pot filling machines. The machine will raise itself to a vertical position in order to accept the bales of media delivered by forklift or pallet trolley. The bale is shaved from underneath and then turned into a perfect, homogenous soil mix via agitators at the exit chute. Photo sensors or probes at the receiving hopper or machine detect the load and will start and stop the bale breaker as required

The discharge side has a breaker and a spraying tube for humidification (optional). The operation is automatic, by means of probes or photocell. The Demtec DBB bale breaker is supplied as a stationary machine that can be moved using a forklift truck, or can be supplied with fitting wheels if required.
